Temple Newsam Halton Gymnastics Club
A small club in Leeds, Temple Newsam Halton Gymnastics Club provides the opportunity for children in local primary schools to participate in gymnastics. Over 500 children have been introduced to the sport since the club started 2 years ago although they still do not have any dedicated premises. Therefore funds are primarily spent on hiring halls and all equipment has to be portable.
To help develop the club and maintain safety standards, the club requested funds from Cash 4 Clubs to purchase new gymnastics equipment. This included floor mats and low balance beams for the Team Gym section which gives children the opportunity to expand on their core ability whilst learning to cooperate and work as a team.
