Holderness Vikings Youth RLFC

The Holderness Vikings were founded back in 1991and continue to go from strength to strength. With over 200 active players the team acts as a focal point for young people in the rural area of East Riding of Yorkshire.

With a strong drive to train players reaching the end of their careers to become coaches, the club also know how important it is to have a fully quipped first aid team to support their twelve teams during training and match days. The £1,000.00 Cash 4 Clubs grant was awarded by the panel who could see how the overall sustainability of the club would be improved if further first aid training was invested in.

Jan Suddaby, First Aid Coordinator, said: "This grant will allow Holderness Vikings to further the knowledge of its First Aid Section in the vitally important area of injury prevention. We thank Cash 4 Clubs for its generosity and also Loughborough University who have built the one day course around our specific requirements."
