Southam Gymnastics
Southam Gymnastics is based in Southam, Warwickshire. It provides the opportunity for children of all abilities to participate & succeed in sport in their local community. They currently have 110 children (aged 4 to 18 years) and run 7 different classes each week. The club encourages a fun environment where members experience the benefits of healthy exercise, a sense of belonging & being valued.
Southam Gymnastics has a strong community link. The club brings together members of the local community, both gymnasts and volunteers. It was founded in 1997 & run by local volunteers ever since. The club's aim is to provide the opportunity for children of all abilities to participate and succeed in the sport of gymnastics.
The Cash 4 Clubs sports grant of £1000 was awarded to the club to enable them to replace their crash and floor mats, which are over 20 years old and extremely worn. New mats will improve the safety for the children and enhance the club. This will benefit our current members, raise the profile of Southam Gymnastics and encourage more children from the local community to participate.
