Stroud Ladies Netball Club
Stroud Ladies Netball Club was established in 1978 and has seen a steady growth in members in recent years. The club is aiming to continue to grow its membership; this is being achieved through taster sessions and link ups with local schools but the club knows that to achieve this successfully it needs to invest in the human capital of the club.
Wendy Chandler, coach, said: 'Our £680 Cash 4 Clubs grant will mean we can fund training for our volunteer coaches. With an anticipated influx of members next season, it is important that we achieve the correct balance between the ratio of qualified coaches and players in both adult and junior training sessions. This money will see four of our senior members attending the Level 1 coaching course which is just great!'
