Isca Hockey Club
Isca Hockey Club has a long history of success since it was formed in 1913 but in order to maintain and grow this in the future they needed to increase the base of youngsters coming into the game and to extend the sport to a more diverse range of participants in the community through closer liaison with local schools and colleges.
It was vital for the club to achieve Clubs First accreditation to attract players to the club and allow them the best chance of securing funds from County Sports Partnerships who work with accredited clubs as a priority. The club therefore used the money they were awarded by Cash 4 Clubs to help get Clubs First accreditation, as well as pay for additional coaching courses to raise the level and number of coaches.
