Bristol Volleyball Club
Bristol Volleyball Club caters for players of all levels and nationalities and members meet to play indoors, outdoors, and at anytime and anywhere! They believe that as a club they have achieved a healthy balance between good-standard, competitive volleyball and sociability.
With sessions for complete beginners and experienced player the club caters for all skill levels. They have seven teams that compete in various leagues, from local tournaments to national level and continually try to encourage new players to try the sport. To facilitate this they run free weekly sessions throughout the summer that are available to anyone.
Norman Greenlee, Coach, said: "Our £500 Cash 4 Clubs grant is going to help us expand our membership. We'll be purchasing new outdoor volleyball equipment which we use at our free weekly sessions and the additional kit will mean more people are able to get involved, keeping fit and having fun."
