Rob Burton Soccer School
Rob Burton Soccer School has over 40 young members with physical, learning or sensory impairment. Simply be attending training sessions members have the chance to play football, keep fit and be involved in activities that give each and every one of them social skills that will set them up for life.
Due to the nature of some of the young peoples' disabilities it is vital that training can take place inside throughout the winter. To ensure as many members as possible can take part in the cold and wet months, the club applied to Cash 4 Clubs to help them with paying hire fees at a local sports hall.
Rob Burton, Head Coach, said: "We're keen to develop our club and want to be able to provide children with physical, learning or sensory impairment the chance to play football which is why this Cash 4 Clubs grant is such great news. We'll be using our £625 to pay the hire fees for an indoor facility for use over the winter months which will mean more of our members are able to take part."
