Cottenham Roller Hockey Club
Cottenham Roller Hockey Club started in May 2006 and since then has continued to grow. Run by a voluntary committee the club trains twice a week and this year has entered six different teams in to the local league.
Constantly looking for ways to increase participation in the sport, the club has recently started delivering a roller hockey course in local primary and secondary schools.
With more members joining the club they are able to enter more and more competitions and they applied to Cash 4 Clubs to purchase a new scoreboard which will be used during training session and during competition matches.
Paula Johnson, Committee Member, said: "We're delighted our club has been selected to receive an award. The £750 we've received will allow us to purchase a new scoreboard which will make match days easier for players, referees, coaches and spectators."
